As UKOPA celebrates its 30th anniversary, we are not only reflecting on the progress made across the pipeline industry—we are also looking ahead to what comes next.
Day two of UKOPA’s 30th Anniversary Conference, on 22 October, will focus on the future of the UK pipeline industry and the innovations, technologies and new ways of thinking that could shape the next 30 years and beyond.
As part of the programme, we are inviting conference delegates, sponsors and exhibitors to submit their most exciting ideas, technologies and solutions for The Pressure Test, a fast-paced showcase of innovation from across the industry.
Your idea. Five minutes. One stage.
The six strongest submissions will be selected to take centre stage at the conference. Each successful entrant will have just five minutes to pitch their innovation to the audience.
The session will be moderated by Dr Mike Kirkwood, Director, Integrity Engineering Solutions at T.D. Williamson, who will keep speakers on time and help ensure every presentation remains focused and engaging.
We want to hear about innovations that could make a meaningful difference to the future of the pipeline industry. These might include:
- New and emerging technologies
- Smarter and more efficient ways of working
- Improvements in pipeline safety and integrity
- Advances in sustainability
- Innovative approaches to asset management
- Digitalisation, data and automation
- Any other idea with the potential to benefit the industry
The aim of The Pressure Test is to challenge established thinking, encourage discussion and shine a spotlight on the ideas that could help shape the industry’s future.
